PhD students and their mentors will get opportunity to present their research, to discuss it with the colleagues, to hear inspiring lectures from international highly recognized professors, discuss projects, cooperation and exchange possibilities.
The goal of the Seminar is to create inspiring environment and provide support to PhD students in their work on their PhD-research, promoting exchange of experiences and results of PhD students’ researches, international cooperation, student to student and student to professor networking, providing workshops on specific topics relevant for PhD study and informing about project opportunities.
Main organizer of Ph-Days@geof.unizg.hr 2021 is University Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy in Zagreb. Partner organizers are Technical University of Munich Faculty of Civil, Geo and Environmental engineering, Chair of Land Management and the Chair of Geodesy from Germany , Catholic University of Leuven, Public Governance Institute from Belgium and Benha University from Egypt.

Seminar organizers are University of Zagreb, Technical University of Munich, Catholic University of Leuven and Benha University from Egypt. Preparation and execution of the Seminar will be done by the Faculty of Geodesy in Zagreb.

The event is taking place on 21stDecember 2022. Event location is Faculty of Geodesy, Zagreb University (Kačićeva 26, 10 000 Zagreb). Students and other participants from Zagreb and the surrounding area can attend the seminar live in the building of the Faculty of Geodesy. Other participants will participate Online via Zoom platform. The seminar is held in the Hybrid model (Online and Live), and all information for access to the seminar Online participants will receive after registration by email. Participation in the seminar is free.
We expect from the Seminar participants – PhD students to prepare one page abstract of their research which will be published in Seminar proceeding and to present their research on the Seminar in the length of 20 - 30 minutes (dependable on the number of participants).
From the teachers and mentors, we expect active participation in the Seminar, either by holding motivation lectures, present research projects, present cooperation possibilities or present on new trends in organization and execution of Postgraduate doctoral studies.

Seminar programme will consist from sessions and workshops which will comprehend several types of activities:
- motivation lectures given by professors and mentors,
- PhD. students research presentations,
- research projects presentations,
- workshop on opportunities for Phd students
Ph-Days@geof.unizg.hr 2022 will be held in a hybrid model. Live presentations will be held at the Faculty of Geodesy in Zagreb. All eligible participants will attend live lectures at the faculty premises, while others will be present Online.
